We have a lot of homeless here in Florida and many of them are children.  It is a sad plight but it is also a fact.  I have a friend in my quilting guild that creates tote bags for the children and fills them with a quilt and three sets of clothing.  She makes hundreds of these each year.  I used a few of my scrap fabrics and sewed up these two little quilts for her project.  A very small part of a very big undertaking.

Tom has been busy in his workshop and has built a wall of cabinets in our daughters home.  These houses with out basements or attics are a storage nightmare.  He created floor to ceiling cabinets and shelving with a built in desk and a television station for the kids games.

The corner cabinet was not supposed to have doors but we all decided that it looks unfinished so he will be making them.  The project has turned out well and we are all pretty pleased with his work.
Now I can get him to focus on some projects at home.
