Little Princes by Conor Grennan

Two years ago I bought the basic Nook and last year I bought the Nook Color.  I love it!  My handy dandy son in love has set me up with the local library and I can get all kinds of books to read from the comfort of my favorite chair.  My daughter just recommended the book Little Princes by Conor Grennan as a must read.  I downloaded it and she was right.  It is an amazing book and it should be at the top of every ones "must read" list. The story is about the "orphaned" children of Nepal but more than that it is the story of a young man who finds what really matters during this short time we call a life.  If you read no other book this year please make this book the number one on your list.

This is my third book for 2013.  My next, and almost finished, is Tout Suit by Karen Wheeler.  It's the story of an English woman that buys a home in France and sets out to renovate it as well as herself.  Another very good read.  So far this year I have made all good book choices.  Any recommendations for me?

  3. Just wanted to let you know that I found your blog over a year ago and every once in awhile I stop in see where you are and what your adventures are.

I've read Little Princes a while ago and wrote a review of it on my blog Thoughts from Millstreet. http://www.thoughtsfrommillstreet.blogspot.com/search/label/Conor%20Brennan

I'm a retired school librarian who now spends my time sewing, quilting, reading, gardening, and traveling to our cabin in northern Wisconsin. That is, I do those things when I am not busy with grandchildren.

Hope you check out my blog and I will continue to check in on your adventures.
